Homemade diy Fairy Garden
You may have already read my post: How to Create a Fairy Garden. My kids and I loved our first fairy garden so much that we made several more this year. Some were ours and some we helped plant for my mom. We were excited about how they turned out and had to share.
Accessories
There really are so many cute fairy garden accessories available now. We found some items on Amazon for great deals. We also found a few things at Gordmans, but they go fast so make sure you buy them quickly if you go there.
You can also purchase accessories/houses at many nurseries or other places you find plants. We found great selections at these stores, but they were definitely more expensive.
Broken Pots
You can also find these cute broken pots that are made for fairy gardens. This fairy pot has 3 sections for your own plants and you don’t have to worry about finding the fairy house. There are also several other options online. All you need to do is find the right size and style for you. Just add your soil, plants and a fairy and you’re set!
Reusable accessories
Fairy gardens can be expensive, but the great thing is that once you buy the pot and supplies, you can reuse them each year. Only needing to buy the plants year after year. Unless of course you can keep expanding your collection. 🙂
It’s difficult to see in the picture below, but we put some of the extra fairy garden accessories out with the smaller plants in the yard. The fairy and bridge are pictured below.
