Surveys: Earn money for your opinion online
How would you like to earn money for your opinion for doing surveys at home? You could possibly pay for Christmas with the money you make.
In the past, I have done a few surveys off and on over the past few years and earned a few points here and there, but it ended up taking forever and I never really made enough to cash out.
I finally decided to try again and really figure out how other people are doing it. I signed up for every survey company I could find. I’m sure there are still several that I haven’t tried (there are so many!).
I finally found a few that I have actually earned real money or gift cards through. I do my surveys whenever I’m watching TV or a movie.
Some people make more than others through certain sites. Obviously, the more surveys you do the more money you make.
They are also looking for people who qualify for each survey and if you don’t fit the demographics they’re looking for, you won’t be able to do as many surveys either.
I have listed a few survey sites here that you may want to try out, but will add more as I try them out. If you want to earn extra money, sign up for a few until you figure out which are for you. The first 4 are the companies I have made the most money from.
Survey apps
On the Go surveys– On average, I get about 1-2 survey per week. I earned about $20 my first month, but sometimes it does slow down. It can be slow depending on what you qualify for. This is an app that does track you through your phone (if you give permission). Sometimes I have been notified of a new survey while I was in a store and so it was convenient to answer a few questions about my shopping trip and earn a few dollars. Occasionally I have made up to $10 per survey. They pay through PayPal
Valued Opinions– Probably my favorite right now. You can earn Amazon gift cards by filling out their surveys online. They don’t have them available all the time, but when I do them, they pay better than many others.
Vindale– I’ve really liked this one so far. They seem to have quite a few surveys available. They also offer bonus opportunities to earn money.
Springboard– Not many surveys, but they email when one is available and they do pay pretty well. This one does require you to earn 50 survey dollars before you can cash out for an Amazon gift card or a bank deposit. It sounds like a lot, but I haven’t been with them long and I’m half way there. Toluna– Earn points for doing surveys. They offer several surveys per week. I haven’t done as much with this as other sites, but others say they really like it. I’ll update this post when I have more info.
Quick Thoughts-Download the app on AppStore or GoogleTunes. I made about $2 my first week, but mostly because I didn’t qualify for most of the surveys. They did pay $.10 for each screener I did when I didn’t qualify for the survey. I was frustrated with one that I spent 20 minutes on and then they told me I didn’t qualify and only paid me the $.10. Usually they do tell you after 2-3 questions if you don’t qualify.
Pinecone Research– I have been very happy with this company. They seem to pay more than others per survey. I get $3 for most surveys that I do, but they do want notice when you won’t consistently be completing surveys with them.
What do you think?
Those are a few survey sites that I have used, but keep checking back because I will be adding to this list. I am still trying out a few other sites.
They won’t make you rich, but it’s definitely a great way to earn some extra money. I love to get paid in Amazon gift cards so that when I do have to pay for the greatly discounted Amazon products that I test and review, I can pay with my gift cards.
For more information on products testing, see my previous post here. Also, comment below and let me know which survey sites you have used, which you like, and why!
