Big Fun on a Small Budget in Utah
How does your family have fun on a budget?
Here are a few things that may help you save a little money on entertainment this year. The problem is that everything adds up, and as single parents, many of us are on a tight budget.
Saving money might allow you to spend more time with your family and kids so you can go to as many community events and activities as possible each year.
Depending on which activities you want to do, some of these passes just maybe a good option for you. They’re at least worth looking into.
Here are a few ways you can save money in Utah
Entertainment Book | I’ve seen this prices for $30 or less. I actually just bought it for $10.40 + free shipping. Keep looking for great deals. | This is a coupon book that will give you many deals for food and activities. They have books for many areas. Some years I actually buy more than one. If I only spend about $10 on this, I end up getting my money back with 1 buy 1 get 1 meal free coupon that’s worth over $10). I’ve also bought them for other states I knew I was visiting that year. |
Pass of All Passes | Purchase through Seven Peaks, City Deals, or sometimes there are other discounts through Groupon or other sites. I have seen this priced anywhere from $10-$50 each. | This pass gives you unlimited admission to Seven Peaks waterpark and fun centers, and also discounts to other events or businesses. |
Utah Connect Pass | Price varies depending on type purchased. Check Groupon and other sites for discounts. | Includes admission to many museums, gardens, resorts, the zoo, etc. |
Utah Kids Club | Currently $12 for one month, but you may want to sign up for their email and watch for any specials. | Monthly family membership gives you discounts to many businesses and events throughout Utah. They also send you free kids meal coupons with membership. |
